Ok, look. I'm from Al abama so the pictures from my prom are just as embarrassing in a totally different way. But I'm just wondering if anyone who doesn't read my blog has friends or affiliations with New Jersey. And if so, is it really like this? It looks like the cast of Final Fantasy VII were attacked by madmen wielding tubes of self-tanning milk. I... I can't come up with anything that doesn't make this less funny than if I just show you the pictures.

Official New Jerseyian here. The short answer is... yes, parts of it are exactly like that. Though I confess I've never seen anyone orange there. Maybe that's a North Jersey thing? The part of New Jersery *I* come from is bad in a completely different way. Either way, note how I'm not there now. :)

Well, as stated in the post, I'm from Alabama so while there were fewer video game hair cuts and carrot orange sun tans, there were a lot more majestic mullets and 15 gallon hats. I pretty much went to high school with a entire class of Forrest Gumps, and not that charming-run-across-the country version of Forrest, more like the spoos-on-your-roomates-bedsheets Forrest.
